I stayed at Valamar Sanfior for 10 days. Without any hesitation, I can recommend this place, and everything was as good as promised or even better. Food options were very good, and dinner options were very diverse and excellent in quality. The place is very calm and quiet, and you can easily rest here for a long time (note that I was there after peak season, yet I can imagine even in high season, you can find yourself a calm place in a beautiful area around). The special distinction goes to the staff of Sanfior. All of them were super helpful, always smiling and always trying to make my stay perfect. Thank you for that! Highly recommended!

Valamar Sanfior is located on a beautiful Peninsula. Breakfast and dinner had a wide variety. The hotel staff was very friendly, and helpful, although some’s English were very limited at reception, other staff do not speak English at all. Always needs to find someone that can speak English. (Google translate help a lot.) Taxi was arranged for us at a good price and we could check out late, waiting for transport. The grounds are big and kept need, but there are quite a few bit that need some attention. Little things need maintenance all over.

We checked in earlier because the room was ready, and that was a big plus. The hotel is part of a chain and there are other hotels nearby. Room was small, but clean, anyways we spend the entire day outside. Breakfast and dinner with a lot of varieties, it might be a bit crowded, but still plenty of space to sit and enjoy the food. Pool area is also crowded, but if you are lucky to go there earlier in the morning, you can find sun beds just below the pool area or pay additional 20€ and rent some at the beach.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; they also agreed that the price per day for a pet was very high (and communicated only after reservation!), so they offered a discount, which we found really fair. It is a very pet-friendly hotel; our dog felt very comfortable in the room, as there was plenty of space outside where he could move. The restaurant has a variety of food that is of good quality and well prepared. The room was impeccably clean, as were the other parts of the hotel.

The place is huge! You can get lost in it. Everything is spotless clean and staff members are all super friendly and very helpful. Buffet dinner and breakfast are excellent and very organized and can handle an incredible amount of people without waiting lines. The flair is somewhat vintage-nostalgic. Apparently the place is famous for being family friendly, because there were many, many families with young kids. SPA and indoor pool are a little under sized and can be crowded.
